Our Story

During my first trip to India in 1998, I joined a college group serving a children’s home in Visakhapatnam. The warmth of the children profoundly touched me, igniting a deep love for India—its culture, its people, and their unwavering resilience. It was there that I first discovered authentic masala chai, an epiphany of flavor that sparked my quest to recreate and share this invigorating brew.

Engaging with chai wallahs—each offering their own unique spin on the beverage—inspired me to develop my own distinct blend. Over the following two decades, return trips to India only fueled my passion to perfect our premium chai recipe, capturing the essence of what we call “THE 8 WONDERS OF THE SPICE WORLD!”

Brewing Impact

In alignment with its humanitarian roots, CJC collaborates with the Rungajaun Tea Estate in Assam, India, ensuring fair wages and community empowerment. Additionally, partnering with Life for the Innocent, CJC contributes a portion of the proceeds to prevent, rescue, and restore children from the horrors of human trafficking. Many of our partners and vendors have partnered with us, matching donations and doubling the impact for rescuing lives.
